ICAR- KVK Anjaw, successfully organized a “Training cum input distribution of Plum and Pomegranate saplings under Tribal Sub Plan Project at Kaho, Kibithoo and Mushai under vibrant village on 27th March, 2025. All together 25 farmers, rural youths, public leaders and self- help groups participated in the programme. A total of 2500 saplings (1250 plum and 1250 pomegranate) were distributed to 25 farmers.
        The objective of the programme was to uplift the livelihood of farmers through scientific cultivation of Plum and Pomegranate. Addressing the participants, Mr. Satveer Yadav delivered a lecture on scientific cultivation of Plum and Pomegranate. He emphasized the potential of Plum and Pomegranate as a high-value crop and since Kaho, Kibithoo and Mushai is one of the hotspot location for cultivation of Plum, it is high time to create awareness among the farmers for cultivation of such crops for enhancing income.
        Dr. S. Peter Singh, SMS (Social Science) delivered a talk on economic importance of Plum and Pomegranate plantation and natural farming.
